Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter In order to express my disappointment regarding the faulty air conditioning in room 1207 at your Hilton five star property in Fujairah Dubai United Arab Emirates. I would like to bring to your attention the chronology of the events that took place that day.
As you see from your records, I am a regular guest at your hotel every year and I was extremely disheartened to find that the air conditioning in my room was not working when I got to check in that late evening. I called for the room service and to my further disappointment, the attended turned up only after about an hour. To my surprise, the attended sent to fix the room was quite ameture and was unable to fix the problem. He later called for a technician who got there by the time it was 9 pm. Apparently, the technician told the staff that there is some internal short circuit due to which I was told to shift in another room. By that time it was already 10 pm and upon learning that the hotel had 100 percent occupancy, I had no choice than to find another hotel that late night.
Sad to say that this is not what I had anticipated for an evening with my husband on our wedding anniversary and i am requesting to have my refund at the earliest. I was told that refund at that time was not possible and that a transfer would be made soon.
Appreciate you to follow up on this matter concerning my full refund amount since the reservation staff informed that such full refund takes about four days.
