Prison is the common way in most countries to solve the problem of crime. However, a more effective solution is to provide people better education. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people have different perspectives about the most effective approach to diminish crime issues. Personally, though the prison is the common solution, better education is essential and needs to be provided for prisoners. On the one hand, there are several reasons that I accept that prison is of necessity solution to deal with crime in many nations worldwide. Firstly, the prison has presented the justice and fairness of society. People who committed an offend must be imprisoned due to the fact that their felony such as murderers, drug dealers, and so on. Thus, they do not allow them to have the freedom as normal human beings. Furthermore, some serious crimes that threaten the safety of society must be kept in jail and do not allow them to interact with the individual in society. As a result, the government can be able to diminish the crime level and prevent people in society from offenders. On the other hand, I believe that providing better education would be far more beneficial for prisoners. First of all, the reason is that many people who take part in illegal acts which are derived from the shortage of awareness and unemployed problems. For instance, because of poverty, they have to commit crimes to earn money. Therefore, education is of importance approach for criminals who just engage in lesser crime. By providing various vocational training for prisoners, the government gives them opportunities to cultivate their aptitudes, and skill after release. For example, ex-prisoners can seek a job and be useful in their local communities, which can help the government reduce the re-offend level. In conclusion, I firmly support that both prison and education are the most effective solution for the government to deal with the crime.
