You have decided to give several hours of your time each month to improve the community where you live. What is one thing you will do to improve your community? Why? Use specific reasons and details to explain your choice.

A community is built so that people can live together with a blissful life while having the necessary facilities and benefits. To decide upon the one thing that I should focus on to bring a change to the community is a hard nut to crack. If I get a chance to work for a couple of hours to improve the community, I will provide free food and shelters to the people who are in dire need of these basic amenities. To begin with, I believe that when a person's daily needs are met, that person can live a happy life. During this pandemic, many people have lost their jobs as the companies were trying to cut short a large number of employees to save money. In fact, they directly sent them an email without any further notice or meeting and the reason behind was awful enough that people start panicking because they were shocked how they will meet their basic necessities. For instance, I have seen many people begging in the street for money with a heavy mind as they badly need that money for feeding their kids. In this heartbreaking situation government came forward to help with benefits but unfortunately, those were not even enough to even pay their rent despite they were having a long list of bills. I saw many people could not come forward to get some help but could not help themselves as they were ashamed of their situations. I felt really sad but I had fewer opportunities to help others while the pandemic hit hard because I also lost my job. I tried my best to be there to mentally support others with the same situation. I only could help with a small amount of money to some people and sometimes I also brought groceries for them. But I felt this was not enough. In addition, I could not work as a single person to provide benefits to every people who are in need. As the pandemic is still ongoing, I feel I should spend several hours a week with other volunteers who have the same goal of helping these people. I have already built a valid website with the help some broad-minded friends of mine with the goal of a big project through which we can reach every corner of my community. In fact, we have started getting donations from our near and dear ones who are trying to encourage us to go ahead and make the scheme possible. To conclude, I am ready to give my hundred percent to make any improvements of my community possible by working several hours a day. Even If It is only me to work hard to reach my goal, I am ready to do it anytime.
