We have been living in the nuelear age now for over half a century. Since the first atomic bombs were developed, nuclear technology has provided governments with the ability to totally destroy the planet. Yet the technology has been put to positive use as an energy source and in certain areas of medicine. To what extent is nuclear technology a danger to life on Earth? What are the benefits and risks associated with its use?

Technology in general can be hypocritic according to its usage. Is it a good thing or not? It is all up to the one who will use this, the human. The first usage of Nucler energy is for the wars. After the discovery of nuclear power and atomic bomb, the profound goverments built their nuclear centrals in a hurry. It was for both a defend mechanism and superiority match. Human, naturally is hungry for power. The one who gets a special superiority is always counted as powerful. I would like to present two examples from the past. The first one is the Disaster of Nagazaki in ww2. Atomic bombs used in a unbearable way to stop the war. It is true that it ended the on-going on war, however its effects on the land and its habitants is inevitably the worst. It is said that the effects on the land and people are still active; the fields are not productive and people are born disabled. Einstein, who is the inventer of atomic bomb, wished to never have been invented such an energy, after seeing its consequences. The first example was the intentionally usage of nucler technology. The second one is the unintentonally usage of the same energy: The Chernobill Disaster. The one of the biggest Nuclear Cental of its time located in Russia, and it is exploded as a result of an accident. The consequences were devastating and the same as Nagazaki. If you travel today, the city of Chernobill, it is a place where nobody lives and ruined. Because of this accident both the region and its locals were omitted. After seeing its outcomes, human is kind of back off from nuclear enery use in this way. We need to accept that the nucler technology is not harmfull all the time. In later years it is become very popular in some certain areas of medicine and pharmology. It showed a good way of treating the undefeatble disases. Both in operations and medicines, its usefullness is proved. In the last 10 years, the earth is changing and facing many problems, because of people's faulthy use of substances which harms the planet. There are many activist and citizens whow are trying to point out these problems with the slogan " There is no planet! ", which is completelly correct. We all know that the nuclear technology is one of the powerful (the most powerful for now) energy in the world. As a source of energy, nuclear technology could be a hope for the future of earth. It can replace with the consumable energy sources in the future. To live a longer and healthy life and for the sake of our earth, the nucler technology is a must. Nuclear Tehcnology is still a huge fear for manny people. But after seeing what happened in the past, I assume that no one will ever trying to kill his/her own habitant, the earth, again. Because each intercention causes a big diasaster. People, nowadays in the mind of saving our world with the help of nuclear energy. The iritary is on the good.
