Sport is good for children. Why? Why not?

Sport is good for children. Why? Why not? x3Y2N
Sports, nowadays have become an integral part of the young generation. It is widely believed that sports have a constructive contribution to children’s future. Several reasons could be added to support this perspective. For the first factor, sport is beneficial to a child’s career in the future which means the juveniles could enhance their standard of living. Sports offer children more opportunities to meet peers from different age groups, cultural and economic backgrounds. Through communicating with people from a variety of backgrounds, children will learn to see life through different eyes and consider a problem when standing in others’ shoes. In the future, those empathies could be transformed into skills of collaborating with their coworker at work, therefore, helping them work more efficiently. Additionally, it helps them to have a better physical health condition. Some detrimental health problems could be minimized if they participated in the sport. For instance, my parents always teach me that playing sports such as basketball and football can help juveniles upgrade their immune system and consolidate body endurance for the long run, moreover, it keeps their mental and physical condition healthy. By contrast, if teenagers stay indoors for long hours, they will not burn the extra calories they have gained from eating fast food; hence, they will be overweight. In conclusion, while there are some argument that sport should be an option for activity, I strongly believe that parent should not ignore sport.
