I think that the essence of the given statement of the question is a burning, controversial and debatable issue in the contemporary medicine world at the moment. And I am inclined to agree with the given statement of the question for a number of pertinent reasons. In the following paragraphs, I would like to explore this topic and discuss my view point. The technology is escalating tremendously in all the sectors and in health sector too. Every year a specific amount of budget is released by the government for health department to improvise the facilities and needs of the public. But, a large proportion of the money is spent on expensive medical equipments and procedures. Extensive medical technology and advanced procedures are needed in case of disease like cancer or other life-threatening conditions. For example, advanced chemotherapy and radiotherapy are needed in last stages of cancer to save a patient's life. Here, I would agree with the fact that a common person cannot spend huge amounts on advanced procedures and diagnostic tests which are costly. Due to economic issues, the person would rather end up not going for further treatment and may also die in some cases. providing public information about heath and diseases and also how to cope up with them will help many people. For example, During this pandemic period, the dreadful disease like covid-19 is bought in to control by providing health education and public information. Previously, diseases like swine-flu, zika virus were also brought in to control. I would like to conclude with some analysis that the aforementioned arguments have vindicated my point of view to agree with the statement of the given question.
