Our lives and interactions with each other has changed in stupendous ways with the internet, which also cause problems that never there to begin with. Throughout the essay, I’ll discuss about considered problems, which caused by the internet, and solutions to these problems. Firstly, I’ll inform you about some of the problems that the internet has given birth to and secondly, I’ll give detailed solutions about these cases.
To begin with, the most important value for humans is time, and internet provides efficiency to time spent, this means people are spending less time and effort on things they do. This might sound good at first but when it comes to less effort on doing stuff, humans can become lazy as time passes by, especially when it comes to acquiring knowledge. Students these days are so lazy that they don’t have inclination to research and discover things themselves, because the knowledge is just a one click away…
Another issue is consistency when it comes to internet. The knowledge on the internet is so inconsistent, it sometimes leads to misled information. This can cause issues for people who are looking for the knowledge they need. This issue has been here for a long time for academists and researchers, who need true information at the right time.
When it comes to solutions, my take on it is to develop some service to monitor the internet, which will filter the knowledge that is considered as ‘inaccurate. This way people will be able to look for the information they need. For time and effort wise, I’m afraid the only solution I can provide is to teach the younger generation that some things in life require effort. This is the only way people can understand, and not look for the easiest solution which is an also basic instinct.
In conclusion, the internet satiates people’s needs in their fast paced lifestyles. But it comes with some consequences. Those problems are time, effort and inaccuracy when it comes to gaining insight. However, these problems have more than one solution, such as a more secure environment for internet usage and sufficient mentoring.
