Many newspapers and magazines feature stories about the private lives of famous people. We know what they eat, where they buy their clothes and who they love. We also often see pictures of them in private situations. Is it appropriate for a magazine or newspaper to give this kind of private information about people?

Generally, people read the newspaper to update about the current affair and to be entertained. Some of them would expect to find article that present the private lives of famous such as actors, political leaders and sportsman etc. in magazines rather than newspapers. In my opinion, it is inappropriate to describe the private lives of well-known people in newspapers and should not be included for the following numerous reasons. To begin with, elderly persons prefer get to know about the current circumstances in society as whether the development is positive or not and these type of information have triggered the debate among them and take interest in it. On the other hand, if the discussion of lives of famous personality has cause to distraction during reading same page of newspapers and they get board. For instance, if famous individual going to visit the shopping mall, gym or somewhere else is not important news. However, these kind of headings are widely seen in newspapers that is neither informative or useful. In this regard, publishing agency needs to focus on only achievements rather than personal lives. For example, as famous individual granted the funds to destitute people for education and health etc. In contrast, magazines contain the social news. I believe that it is appropriate to include the some features about renowned individuals for them. However, the fact is that mostly stories are too embarrassing and untrue just attract people to buy the magazines. In conclusion, I think newspapers should concentrate only true facts and figures of society. Whereas, magazine can produce some articles on people’s lives that will be suitable for aspiring people.
