These days Information Technology should be added to academic subjects of school is a debatable issue. One section of the society believes that computer education should be made mandatory for the students in most of the education institute while the rest do not. I completely support this view as it will bring lot of benefits for them in the future.
To start with, 21st century is known is known to be era of Information Technology (IT) as it did not get affected during the time of pandemic also where other sectors were suffering. So by going through this point of view, lots of training institute have made it obligatory for the young ones to learn about the basics of computer. As a result, it will be beneficial for them in the long run. Firstly, they will be hired by top corporate firms, as they have the basic knowledge about the computer program and it’s applications to which the firm is looking for, so at that time they don’t require any training when they start working. Secondly, it is cost effective for the company as they don’t have spend more on training sessions and moreover, it will benefit the company as the candidate is contributing towards the growth of the company.
To illustrate, last month my friend got hired as a Jr. Data Analyst in one Multi National Company because he had the basic knowledge of programming which he learned when he was in college.
On the other side, the rest are of the view that youths can gain ample of knowledge about new technology whenever they want. This idea can bring a lot of drawbacks because it may not give proper exposure to them. Primarily, when they will start working with a company, they will take more time to understand the process as they had never come across this thing and eventually they will commit mistakes to which they will frustrated. In addition to that, they will even get paid less since; they don’t possess the requisite knowledge of that particular field.
