My name is Duncan McLoud and I'm writing to you to express the sad experience I have received last Saturday when my friends and I visited your restaurant. Last Saturday was my friend Henry's birthday and he asked me to organize a funny party at some interesting place, and I have chosen your restaurant because I had seen your advertisement on TV.
Having come to the establishment at the time, we could not start our celebration due to the restaurant's waiters did not prepare our place for a party. Later we discovered that the cake have not been cooked and one waiter advised us to order something different. All of these factors made our friend’s company unhappy and our holiday was ruined.
In general, we had an unpleasant experience and I would like to receive a letter from you with an explanation of the event. I am not asking you for a refund, however, I expect to get a small discount if I visit your restaurant next time.
