Everyone have a dream of building his/her own house, once in a lifetime and if that house is made with their own choice of scheme and architecture, that serves as cherry on the cake. Although, some people have the plans of merely making a house but with the style which is widely acceptable or in other words, an old style. In the following essay, I will discuss both school of thoughts and explain why I agree on former view than later. Developing a house based on old style of housing could turn out to be deterimental than beneficial as old style of living could arise the present challenges of living. For example, in previous times, people used to fetch water from a common tap instead of multiple taps at multiple places inside the house as bathroom, kitchen have their own taps etc. In addition to it, there is no facility made for ventilation and installation of heaters or air conditioners. This adds only complexity in spite of ease. Furthermore, staircase are made of wood and occassionaly requires renovation. The less emphasis is given on individual rooms and more on living area, thereby leaving unnecessary space which can be utilized wisely for other purposes such as laundry or kids get together area. On the other hand, knowing all such potential issues, everyone wants to eliminate it. Modern day housing includes room for every person, common area for family members, backyard with garden and double garaging. Local authorities should be considerate about such freedom of choice and allow the citizens to make a house of their own will. In the end, change is the only contant and by giving every individual their choice of structuring a house is meaning that respecting the liberty of a citizen to make choices. A house is then and only then becomes home when the people living in it are happy from heart and satisfied to its core. Modern housing not only care about the individuals but also for the pets too as technology has made space for well equiped framework for animals too. It's a win-win situation for everyone who wish to have a house one day.
