many foods are shipped from far away

many foods are shipped from far away pnGRD
These years, there is a growing recognition that a number of people would like to buy food that is shipped from far away than eating local food. While this trend may bring about some drawbacks, I would argue they are eclipsed by the benefits. It is clear that consuming transported food would bring about several drawbacks for individuals. Firstly, local food is more nutritious. Transported food will be gone through a transportation process which can last fresher than local. In addition, preservatives in food transport directly affect consumers causing serious diseases. Secondly, it seriously affects the environment. Food shipped from far away will use many vehicles to transport, so it leads to air pollution. In spite of the drawbacks mentioned above, I believe that transported food is a positive trend. Firstly, the consumption of foods that are transported from many areas promotes the economy because these processes create many different jobs for everyone and it also helps raise their income. For instance, Vietnam's rice exports to developed countries have brought a rich source of income for farmers. Secondly, it provides people with a variety of food. People can access the dishes from far away, and enjoy new dishes. Last, importing food items from far places will stimulate the meal more. Its novelty and strangeness make people feel more appetized. In conclusion, it seems to me that the advantages of food that are transported from afar are.
