Technology has replaced many conventional methodologies and one of them is letters. As the use of electronic gadgets is increasing day by day, people have started adopting modern methods like writing emails instead of traditional skill of writing letters. Letters share a sentimental value which an electronic message fail to express, though, in my opinion, soon there would arrive an era where no one would be aware of system of writing letters. Looking upon benifits of writing email, firstly it can be sent immediately and one does not have to wait over a longer duration for reciving or delivering a message. Also, the facility of making calls whenever required has totally replaced the concept of writng letters. People can now virtually talk to each other easily on face time and share their feelings in person. Furthermore, in earlier days posting letters was an costlier and delay causing approach. Additionaly, system of email and phone calls is quite secured and safe. Confidential details can be delivered without hesitation or fear of others reading it to respective person. Moreover, maintaining and keeping email, messages and photographs has become easier on mobile phones and computers whereas in conventional approach preserving from it termites and enviornmental effects is an another challenge. Conclusively, letter writing comprised of precious sentimental values which are irreplaceable but advantages of using technology outweights it. Talking to people, preserving messages, sending invites on occasions and importantly the speed of delivering messages cannot be ignored and hence, people have started adapting the use of mobile phones, computers and other electronic gadgets in place of old traditional method of letter writing.
