Subjects such as art, sport and music are being dropped from the school curriculum for subjects like information technology. Many children suffer as a result of these changes. to what extent do you agree or disagree?

Artistic subjects are considered to be not useful for students to get a good job and replace these subjects with subjects such as information technology. In my opinion, I disagree with the statement that removing artistic subjects from the school curriculum. Firstly, artistic subjects encourage learners' creativity. Subjects such as art and music can help people to promote creativity in the learning process because students have to create new things through their thought. Hence, it can bring benefits for learners when they go to work in the future. Moreover, artistic subjects help students to be less stressed to have more energy to continue to study better. Subjects like Information Technology are the compulsory subjects in the entrance exam so these subjects have more lessons at school. However, if students only study these subjects, they can not develop comprehensively. Because besides the knowledge, students also need to learn and practice soft skills, which are taught in the artistic subjects. Moreover, each student has their own favorite subjects so if artistic subjects are dropped from the school curriculum, it is not fair to the students who like to learn these subjects. In conclusion, each subject brings its own benefits for students and plays a different part in their life so schools should not remove subjects such as art and PE from the curriculum.
