Some people say that the only reason for learning a foreign language is to get to travel to or work in a foreign country. Others say that these are not the only reasons why someone should learn a foreign language.

Learning a second language is becoming popular significantly all over the world. A part of society believes that people are learning a foreign language for travel purposes or work. While others think that it is not the only issue, there are more reasons for learning another language. I would like to identify the objectives of learning a foreign tongue. We are living in 21st-century and witnessing technological advancement. People, at present, are interested in learning a foreign language along with their mother tongue. For travelling or work purposes in a different country, people must have learned a foreign tongue. Big companies such as Apple, Google, Facebook recruit all over the world and Who joined these businesses must know a second language. If they have no knowledge about a different language it's difficult for them to work in the new environment and peers as well. Furthermore, tourism is growing rapidly. The development of the tourism industry can be flourished if the authority emphasis more on foreign language. Whenever the tourists come over it is easy to interact with them. Yet mentioned reasons are not only reasons for studying the second tongue. There are several reasons for learning a foreign language. First of all, For higher education. Students who want to pursue higher education abroad require a language certificate. Without this certificate, they will not allow applying there. For example, if a student is admitted to a German university they, of course, have the knowledge of English or German language otherwise students will not able to understand the lectures provided by the teacher. In addition, it's a trend to learn foreign language as entertainment. A large number of youngsters is studying only for fun. For example, my sister is a fan of Korean movies, songs, dramas. She is learning solely for entertainment to get the meaning without using subtitles. In conclusion, multilingual brings benefits Either in work or travel or for study purposes or entertainment. As it brings advantages to us, I think people should learn foreign language.
