The following pie charts represent electricity power units by fuel sources in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000.
Overall, in Australia both coal and hydropower units had risen up the production in 2000 whereas oil and nuclear power units had decreased in 2000. In France, units produced by coal stayed the same in 200 in comparison to oil and natural gas which increased while hydropower units had declined.
In Australia, total units in 1980 are 100 units which increased to 170 in 2000. Coal units and hydropower climbed up from 50 to 130 and 20 to 36 in 2000 respectively. On contrary oil and natural gas has fallen from 10 and 20 respectively to 2 units in 2000.
In France, coal stayed same in 2000 with 25 units. Oil units had increased from 20 to 25 in 2000. Similarly, nuclear power had risen from 15 to 126 in 2000.
