Despite a lot of advancement in the field of science and technology, a plethora of medical techniques are still extant such as medicine involving drugs and surgical operations, acupuncture and treatment with herbs. Although the doctors are responsible for healing the maladies however, I believe that the mental attitude of the patients contributes significantly in the success of the treatment by appropriately consuming the prescribed medicines and the internal willingness to get cure. This essay will further expound these reasons and provide a number of pertinent examples to espouse them in the forthcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, along with the efforts of the doctors it is the responsibility of the patients to follow the guidelines and consume the prescribed medicines. Aberration from the healing process and skipping from the medicaments can prove to be pernicious and the efforts of the doctor can turn into fiasco. This happened with my uncle. He was under a treatment for curing his joint pains. Due to workload he used to frequently miss his medicines. Even after being admonished by his doctor and family he was not diligent. This resulted him in the surgery as one of his bones was disoriented.
Secondly, every person being treated must be sanguine about his treatment. Having a positive attitude and the willingness to get cured will reflect on the response of the body organs. This will heal the body at a more faster rate than expected. For example, There has been a case in USA. A child had met with an accident an one of his leg stopped functioning. He adopted various methods along with the medications to overcome his problem. It was expected that the treatment will take six months to cure him but to everyone's surprise his leg started functioning within four months.
In conclusion, although the medical team is working to their full potential however, I believe additionally the attitude of the person being treated plays a vital role in the determining the efficiency of the medication.
