These days, people are buying a lot of things online due to their busy schedules and mechanical lives. Internet shopping has become very common amongst all the generations for purchasing things like books, groceries and flight tickets. This essay will shed light on both the boons and banes of shopping online and further the notion shall be shared at the end.
Despite higher costs, there are various other reasons why people buy things online. There is a surge in the number of people shopping online as the brands give different coupons and offer to people purchasing online rather than buying at a store, one can avail the products at cheaper prices. In addition, there is a larger variety seem on the websites; wherein, a customer can pick whatever is required. Users can also compare the prices with other brands and can select the best-suited one. For an instance, recently one of my friends bought a pair of Gucci shoes online wherein, she availed them for almost half of the original price which was an awestruck deal.
On the other hand, there are also reasons why people do not shop online as they might deliver the wrong product or a damaged piece. However, one will not be able to try on the product until and unless it reaches us which might cause size issues. There are also chances where a fake product is sent instead of an original. Recently, I read an article where a person received a fake Apple mobile after paying the entire amount to the website which kept me in a dilemma to buy mobiles online.
In conclusion, there are various advantages and disadvantages of shopping online but, in my opinion, I would recommend everybody to shop at least once through the internet as it saves lots of time and there are a number of options when compared to the physical shops
