Some people prefer to use energy-saving modes of transportation like hybrid cars and bicycles. Others prefer the usual mode of transportation like buses and trains because it is fast and efficient. Which mode of transportation do you prefer and why?

There are different modes of transport such as land transport, air transport and water transport. Different people prefer to use different modes of transportation. Different modes of transportation have different benefits. Some people prefer to use hybrid cars because they are energy saving while others prefer to use buses and trains because they are fast and efficient. I prefer to use buses and trains and I will discuss the reasons in detail in the following paragraphs. Technology has given rise to many different vehicles which were hardly seen in earlier days. Vehicles like hybrid cars, auto-rickshaws which are charged or run on battery, solar bus - a recently invented vehicle by students of Punjab University, Chandigarh are energy saving vehicles and are pollution free. People those who are much concerned about environment prefer to use such kind of vehicles. On the other hand, some people prefer to use vehicles like buses and trains because they are fast and efficient. They cover large distance within few minutes and have capacity of carrying large number of people at a time. There is a risk involved in travelling by hybrid cars because they use less petrol without which the vehicles cannot run and they may stop within the journey. I prefer to use buses and trains because they are much faster and comfortable and an individual can reach to their destination on time. To conclude, both the modes of transportation have their own benefits but my preference is buses and trains. It saves money and also it is better for the environment.
