involvement of women's service towards police forces

The involvement of women's service towards police forces have elevated equally to men during the 21st century. In contrary, some opine that females should not get permitted to serve the police forces. However, I do disagree with that particular statement and strongly believe that women must be granted to work in the police forces. On one hand, the crimes are not only committed by men whereas there could be females who commit dangerous criminal activities. These criminals should be handled with the presence of female police officers in order to ensure their basic rights are protected as per the law and order. For an example, a lady police officer would provide more comfort and a safety atmosphere to a female under the police custody which might lead the investigation in a fairly manner. Hence, the women police officers could handle such criminals in a diplomatic method. On the other hand, women are more likely to get abused when they were taken into custody by male police officers without the presence of a female police officer. The statistics of a recent research concludes that 6 women out of ten go through physical and mental harassments when the investigations carried out by male police officers alone. Hence, these type of behaviors violate the rights of women during investigations and such instances could be minimized by enabling more women working in the police force. Serving the police force require more capabilities and might be riskier for women. However, the service of women is an essential pillar for the police force in order to ensure female criminals are treated fairly as well as their rights are protected from any sort of harassments.
