A considerable number of organizations have a specific attire which every staff is expected to done at all times. This has some merits to the company and also some positive effects on the employees as well. thus, this essay will expound on these. In recent times, a considerable number of organizations has made it mandatory for their employees to put on a particular attire. Which must be adhered to so long as they remain at work. I believe, that this practice has some advantages to the company and also some benefits to the employees as well. Thus, this essay would expound on these. This practice, has some benefits to the organization. primarily, for easy identification. when staff appear on a specified attire, it helps the workers, clients as well as the directors to be able to differentiate who is who. Take for instance, in a hospital settings, where nurses are meant to put on white gown and a blue cap. The doctors, on a blue robe with a white ward coat. The technical staff, on a blue shirt with a black trousers or skirts. All these, assists in ensuring there is order and easy identification of a particular staff. Secondly, this would help in improving the security of the company. A case in point, within most NICU departments in some hospitals denies entrance to any body/staff that is not on their expected attire. This is to ensure the maximum safety of the neonatal children in these units. As it has been reported in past of some attempts to kidnap some children from these units by some u known individuals. For these reasons, it would benefit the organizations a whole lot should they implement the idea of staff dressing in a particular way for easy identification and improvement of their general security. Furthermore, dressing in a particular way would be of great benefits to the staff. First, it will minimize unhealthy competition among them. Because, if they are allowed to dress in any way they so wish, it would give room to unnecessary competition as regards to how classy and sophisticated the clothing and shoes they put on might be. As a results, distracts them from their primary course of duty. In addition, this would assist them in saving more. Since, they spend most of their productive hours at work, they will practically have less things to spend their money on especially on clothing and shoes. As a result, encourages them to save more for more important things other than clothes. Therefore, adopting a specific pattern of dressing in a work place, is of great benefits to the workers because, it helps to reduce unhealthy competition and also encourages good saving culture. In conclusion, a good number of companies have made provisions for staff uniforms and it is expected that every employee should constantly be on this attire once they are at work. I believe, that these practices has some advantages to the companies. Because, they enhance proper identification and improved security. Also for the workers, it eliminates unhealthy competition and encourages good saving culture.
