In the field of finding a place to live I suggest that you try to find an apartment in south of city. While I was a student there, I hired an apartment in that neighborhood and it was affordable in comparing with the other places.
Furthermore, in the south of city you can find many friends and it will make a happy life for you there.
Some students try to find a place for living in north of city, near the university, I think it is a mistake because the places there are very expensive and after a while, they will be forced to change their place and move to a cheaper place.
I am ready to shire my idea about living there with you in future and I hope you have a happy life in that period there.
