Bicycles are known as one the best means of transportation. However others argue that it has some difficulties. While both perspectives have merits and drawbacks, I personally agree with the first thinking because in my opinion bicycles are the best vehicle for both nature and people. Having a bicycle provides people with many benefits. Cycling is a kind of sport which is helpful for being fit and healthy. Take the example of Switzerland, one the healthiest and happiest modern countries. Around half of people use a bicycle instead of car for transportation. Also, bicycles are one of the green means of transportation. They don’t make any air or noise pollution. So they are one of the best means of enjoying the nature and keeping it safe. Whereas, driving a car can make many problems. That being said, some might argue that bicycles have some disadvantages. It is true that bicycles aren’t useful for old people or people with disabilities but, in the modern life most of the people suffer from obesity that is mostly caused by lack of activity. Also air pollution is an important issue which has many dangerous impacts on people lives. I believe using cars and other motor vehicles have been the reason of many serious health problems and disease during last decades. With the above in mind, it is clear that both approaches have positive and negative aspects. However in the big scale bicycles are one of the best means of transportation which should be more used by people especially in developing countries.
