Back then, people always s believed in studying hard and qualifying in required fields of education while the parent’s felt proud seeing their children bringing in great marks and certificates. Well, the students now thinks that there are a lot other things to do to earn and not only the option of having education qualifications which is quite of a controversial between the parents and their child. So does taking a break before joining a university or developing their own experience makes any difference?
Our minds are shaped in such a way that we are supposed to follow the daily routines or the thought of codependency to our parents which creates limitations and barriers towards what we are actually capable of. However, with an increase in an unemployment youths and less job opportunities made younger ones to consider about their own choices and options for the betterment. For example, my brother who completed his 12th grade this year keeps denying to continue his studies and rather wants to explore his ideas into something much better on the other side our father wants him to go to a college by not wasting anytime. Though our parents want the best in us and are always supportive doesn’t mean that we as an adult kid are not listening to them but in fact wants to be more independent and follow our own dreams.
Time indeed is also another kind of an issue to deal with when it stops for no one and hence plays a vital role in the day to day lives of the human beings. So, people often become impatient and just wants to finish their educations early to find a good job and start a family of their own. While other believes in developing their strengths by travelling around and exploring the type of jobs that is suitable for them which can be a greater of help to their nearer future. Nevertheless, with an increase of an unemployment factor has brought a new intuition to the students believing that it is a huge waste of time, money and energy putting up in a college or university when nothing seems assured but from the research has shown that around 70% of the teenagers are suffering from depressions and anxiety leading to their poor health.
To conclude, it is a major factor of deciding on what the student wants to do in their early 20’s and as their supporting guardian, it is your responsibility to reach out and listen to their minds and hearts rather than pushing them to do what they don’t like. We can never predict a future so we have to live to what makes us happy and fulfilling than just following a ladder.
