In the contemporary epoch, health is a major concern for every person. Some people believe that government should spend their money on public for promoting healthy style rather than treating illness whereas other group of thinkers have opposite views on this. This essay will discuss the arguments of both sides in detail and will also discussed that why I partially agree with this statement for some causes.
Although, there are plethora of reasons for promoting healthy living. Out of all the reason, the first and foremost one is awareness camp. Authority should organise different health campaigns which would be affordable and accessible to all individuals. To owing this, public will get more knowledge about diseases. In addition, administration should enact various laws such as food adulteration act to prevent mixing of impure substances in eatables as well as to promote food hygiene. Infact, healthy lifestyle will also be promoted if government allocate money on establishing parks and gyms for fitness of physical health.
On contrary, I do not overlook the other side too. However, poor people cannot afford the cost of treatment for ailments. So should provide funding to them for the cure of the disease. In fact, administration should maintain hospital infrastructure and utilise money on establishing different health assessment centre as well as the launch new machines for treatment at affordable cost. For instance, survey was conducted on people in India in which 35% of individuals were not able to afford the treatment cost and healthy lifestyle. Consequently, they are suffering from various other diseases. So, government should also focus on these humans and allocate spending to them in the form of funding and free checkups.
In conclusion, this essay argued on the both views and discussed the extent in terms of agree and disagree. Although, I would say that authority should expend money in the promotion of healthy lifestyle as well as on the establishment of health centres in affordable and accessible terms for public so that individuals will not face any problem with the treatment cost
