Influence of human activities on the world's ecosystem is leading to the extinctions of species and loss of biodiversity. What are the causes of the loss of biodiversity? What solutions can you suggest? kjweK
Despite knowing about biodiversity 's importance for a long time, human activity has been causing massive extinctions of species. This essay will examine the main causes for the los of biodiversity and possible solutions to this problem. To embark on, the major two reasons for the extinction of species are the change in their habitats and over exploitation of natural resources. First, When humans artificially transforms the environment, they destroy vegetation and animals natural habitat of species. For example, to construct roads, people cut down tress and cement the soil, altering the environment. Because of that, a lots of species die out. Similarly, when activities connected to capturing and harvesting a natural resource are too intense in particular area, the resources become exhausted. For example, too frequent fishing does not allow or leave them no time for fish to reproduce and makes them disappear. Thus, unwanted human activities often deplete local flora and fauna and cause loss of biodiversidisapperancessible solutions to this problem are protecting natural resources and promoting awareness among people. By conserving the areas where human activities are limited and avoiding the over exploitation of its resources, we can save the untouched environment and thus preclude species from dying out. Another way to fight biodiversity loss is by informing general population about the dangers of this serious problem. This way, public will be conscious of the environment and will not overuse or destroy its resources. In conclusion, people 's activities that change the nature have negative impacts on the world 's ecosystem. However, we can significantly lessen or abate the disappearance of species by conserving natural habitats and enlightening people about this growing issue.
