Development of Tarnagul over 100 years

The maps illustrate the changes in the town called Tarnagul near Melbourne from 1900 to 2000. There is noticable amount of change that has happened in and around the town in the span of a century. In this essay, I'll compare the changes occured in first 5 decades and the next 5. In the 1900s the town was more focused on farming of Oranges and Mandarins and also gave importance to diary farming. There were Orange farms on Northen side of the Town and Mandarins farm on South and a Diary farm across the River side, Which were later replaced by Orange farms on south and Diary farms by lemon and Grapefruit farms. We can also see the establishment of Packing Sheds on the West. In the next 5 decades the farming of the oranges was stopped and the land remained unused. While the Leamon and Grapefruit farms were replacved by Wildlife Sanctuary. We see that the town grew constructing Park and a Local Museum opposite to Craft market. A tourist Shop was also setup to attract tourism to the town.
