2. (21/11/2015): Many people go to university for academic study. More people should be encouraged to do vocational training because there is a lack of qualified workers such as electricians and plumbers. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, graduating from high schools, teenagers have a lot of ways to ORIENT their future. While it is believed to be better for them to continue academic study in the universities by some people, it is assumed to be more vital to do vocational training by others. From my standpoint, I wholeheartedly concur with the acquisition OF academic knowledge in the university. To begin with, academic study can provide students with more opportunities to apply in their favourite high-paid jobs. To be specific, nowadays, most workplaces ask applicators to have a university degree. If people choose to stop accumulating academic knowledge in the universities, they cannot meet the demand of lots of companies; as a result, their chances to be an employee in these enterprises are considerably widened. In addition, there are numerous jobs which people cannot pursue without enrolling in a university. In the universities, students acquire not only THEORETICAL knowledge but also the skills and experience from their lectures after enduring and absorbing, which is eminently necessary FOR some high-demanding jobs. Take, doctors for instance. It is impossible for people taking part in vocational training to be educated meticulously and have enough ability to become professional doctors. However, it is argued that students after universities are less qualified than those from vocational training due to the lack of experience. Nevertheless, they should bear in mind that, the knowledge acquired in the universities can help them become more skilled people more and more secure since thanks to these, they can interpret(INTERPRET) which they should do to reduce the risks. To sum up, I wholely advocate the opinion that, studying in the universities is much more beneficial for students than vocationaLly training. It not only broadens their opportunities to more workplaces, but it also helps learners pursue their careerS in high-demanding jobs such as doctors, or teachers.
