The bar chart illustrates how the value of rentals and sales of movies have changed from a specific store between 2002 and 2011.
Overall, it is obvious that the rentals number have dramatically decreased while DVD sales have been almost stable for most of the period. Moreover, the use of VH5 had been vanished in the middle of period and another started to be sold.
Rentals amount has had a steady decrease since 2002 when reached a peak at nearly 200, 000, to 2011 where dropped about 75% to the lowest value at over 50. 000. This trend was followed by VHS, which had the highest value in 2002 but it has never sold anymore since 2006.
On the other hand, Blu-ray sales initiated in 2007 with only sales under 10000; however, it shown a steady increase drom 2008 to 2011. DVDs were the prevalent in all the years. The sales went up from approximately 50000 in 2002 to a peak of over 200, 000 in 2007. Despite of a slightly dropped in 2008, it still remained the most popular choice from 2004 until 2011.
