The following graph represents consumption of fish and various types of meat in Europe between 1979 and 2004. Overall, grams per person per week of beef and lamb decreased from 1979 to 2004 while amount of chicken consumed per gram increased from 1979 to 2004. On contrary grams of fish consumed remain unchanged from 1979 to 2004. Total gram of beef and lamb declined in 2004. Beef decreased in 1979 from above 200 to below 200 and raised again to nearly 250 in 1984. Then it slightly decreased in 1984 and remain platue in 1984 to 1989 and decline till reach beyond 100 in 2004. Similarly lamb amount dramatically declined from 1979 to 2004 and reach beyond 50 in 2004. On contrary chicken grams increased from 150 in 1979 and reach above 200 in 1989 then it fluctuates from 1989 to 2004 till reach 250 approximately. However, fish grams slightly fluctuates and remain the same in 2004 at 50 grams.
