The Chart bar showed the details which came from Australia’s universities and colleges regarding the proportion of children’s involvement in eight types of class in 1995. It is clear that girls preferred most to study Arts&Humanities, while large number of boys participated in Engineering. It was easy to find out that the greatest gender difference was in Engineering, where the participation rate was almost 9 times higher in boys than girls. Meanwhile, boys were more interested in Computing and Math&Science than girls. 10% of boys were keen on Computing while only almost 4% girls liked this subject. Also, around 14% participants in Math&Science were boys and only approximately 6. 5% were girls. However, Arts&Humanities, Health and Education were dominated by girls. The percentage of girls in both Arts&Humanities and Education were almost twice larger than that of boys respectively. In terms of Health, there were 15% girls compared to just below 5% boys. With regard to Business Studies, boys and girls participated almost equally, approximately 9 percent of both genders who chose this subject.
