There are those who believed music must be taught as regular subject during school level education; however, another proportion of people think that it would be wastage of precious learning time for children. This essay will shed light on both view points and my own opinion about why I am inclined towards the later side slightly along with logical reasons. First of all, Music, which is a part of culture of a society, is very essential because it may represents the existing problems of the community and enlighten people about the issues. Since music could easily touch hearts of an individuals, it would be convenient to address problems among the mass. In addition, Music is an art and creativity. Nobody will deny learning such things as it might be career opportunities for many toddlers. Hence, providing music lessons on early age could be beneficial. On the other hand, many people doesn't think music could be life sustaining stream. Not only does they think its only for phone and entertainment but also they think its a waste of crucial time. The reason behind it might be less income. Parents, who often tends to care about their children's future, believe they might not focus on life goals if they are into music. This could be another reason behind considering music unworthy. In my opinion, Music is vital subject which can secure life and provide satisfaction to those who are inclined on it. It could be incorporated in school subjects but as an optional because some children doesn't find it interesting while others does. To summarise, keeping it in syllabus could promote culture and boost creativity but it might hamper those who are not interested about it if it is compulsory. Therefore, keeping it as an optional subject would be better.
