More attention is paid to being ‘responsible tourists’ in order to preserve the cultural and environmental aspects of tourists places. However, some people think it is impossible to be a ‘responsible tourist’ in the society. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In contemporary society, the advancement of technology, people have favorable opportunities to engage in numerous travel activities. Some people suppose that this is impossible because the burden of tourist and the services of tourist industry. From my perspective, I believe that this is an ideal environment to maintain and develop the cultural and environmental values of those destinations. On the one hand, it is reasonable that the development of tourist industry focus on their services to create an ideal environment for people to spend a huge amount of time to immerse themselves in those trips result in visitors do not pay attention to protect the environment of those destination, as a consequence, release a plethora of garbage into the environment. Furthermore, with the tough competition of tourist industries, tourists put the burden on numerous locations have to change traditional activities to suitable for them, therefore, the plethora of cultural activities can be lost. For example, there are numerous people are inappropriate with several particular cuisines in some regions and they post detrimental feedbacks on the internet to create the pressure on the culture of those destinations. Nevertheless, although there are several distractions make people difficult to put emphasis on cultural and environmental values of their destination. Numerous people have become responsible tourists. Firstly, tourist tend to choose the trips have experience about the history of their country to broaden their horizon and have a comprehensive understand about their fatherland result in contributing to reserve numerous cultural aspects and develop its in other countries. Not to mention that the youth tend to put emphasis on the protect the environment through campaign to raise awareness of tourists. For example, green summer campaign have become a reputation travel for students in university to move to other regions and create numerous activities to protect the environment and raise people awareness about the values of cultural regions. In conclusion, although there are several detrimental aspects for people to focus on reserving the environment and culture of destinations. I hold the belief that individuals have become responsible tourists with the available travels about history and the campaigns of the youth about the environment.
