Despite the technological advance in agriculture and using the technology in food production millions of people around the world still suffering from the hunger. There are so many courses that can contributes to the this issue such as food wastage, food storage, climate change, poverty and growth of overpopulation. In this essay, I will discuss the factors that affecting to the food scarcity and the solution to overcome from the situation. There are several causes for the modern day food scarcity. One of the main factor is the food wastage. The well develop enterprises such as restaurant tend to prepare large quantity of foods at onetime. On the other hand, people don't eat all of their meals. As a result, the remaining food is discarded to the garbage can. In addition another cause for the Global hunger is farmers don't have enough and appropriate food storage system for their crops. Therefore, many crops that cultivated can be destroying and the farmers won't able to distribute their crops to the suppliers. Poverty is a main factor that contributes to the Global hunger. Even though in modern day it is really hard to buy food for the low income families. Nowadays most of unskilled people can't find a job or earning way to fulfill their needs. Furthermore, growth of overpopulation is also cause to the food scarcity. However the large restaurant can solve this issue by make in a routine to give food surplus to the people who needed. In addition, government should provide more storage facilities to the small-scale farmers, through that farmers will able to storage their crops. To address the climate change problems, even though government should provide the facilities to cultivate in different climate, government should conduct researches to how farmers cultivate their crops in different weather. As an example, the government can conduct a research about how to grow crops in hot temperature weather. Poor people are often unskilled. Therefore, the government can make a strong economy which can offer jobs even for the unskilled workers. A stable income allows the poor people two feed to their families. Government can impose a strict regulation to the control the growth of population. In conclusion, even the technological innovation has been used in agriculture, millions of people still struggling with starvation. People starve because of poverty, storage and wastage. However appropriate steps such as making strong economy and prevent food wastage can solve this Global issue.
