Recently, it is highly argued that there is an increasing trend of nuclear families and people prefer to stay with a limited number of individuals. There are certainly an ample number of reasons behind this present day fashion and some appropriate steps could possibly be the remedy of this disease. To commence with, in my opinion, most individuals of the society are employed, they have busy and hectic schedules and do not have leisure time to look after other members of the family. For example, parents often went out early in the morning and came back late, therefore there is almost no time to talk or play with their children. A less number of individuals in a family suggests a handful of mouths to feed which means a little sum of money is required to get over the responsibilities. Furthermore, people living in a small family have least number of minds, hence in various situations decision making becomes more effective as it is easy to convenience a group of two or three people as compare to large herd. There are possibly many ways which can be fruitful to bring the people together and live collectively. The first and the foremost step is to teach children the importance of relationships and living together. For instance, I still remember during my teenage years how my grandfather used to stress upon the idea of staying united under one roof which became fruitful to all of us. As everyone these days adores to put forward his point of view, consequently a continuous dialogue between young and elderly people related to issues such as freedom of speech and thought is the need of the hour. Moreover, old people should respect the decisions of young ones and a personal and individual space should be given to all.
