The issue of noise generation

The issue of noise generation has sparked controversy among the general public as a whole. Some people may maintain their notion that there should be rules regarding noise restriction, whereas others disapprove of these rules and affirm that they could make noise at their disposal. I am inclined to the fact that people should crack down on those who make noise without limitations. On the one hand, people should be allowed to make as much noise as they want because of some reasons. Firstly, producing noise is sometimes considered a type of recreational activity. To specify, at the stadium, the supporters often make loud noise to cheer for their favourite football teams. Secondly, new materials such as glass windows and other specialized facilities have been invented to build houses which can block out the noise. Therefore, it is unnecessary for people to keep quiet, they can make loud noise freely such as singing Karaoke or EDM music without causing a nuisance to their neighbours. However, I believe that the government should impose strict law on controlling noise. The first reason is that too much noise can significantly affect people’s health. If people live in a noise-polluted environment for a long time, their standard living will be reduced which can lead to some diseases such as headache or chronic insomnia. Additionally, noise also can disturb people’s work or study. When students have to study from home, but they live near construction sites or the neighbors turn on the music too loud, they will be distracted from their studies and even can not get what the teachers is saying. Besides, having an online interview while there is a lot of noise around, the interviewees may be judged as not well prepared. In conclusion, while many people believe they could make much noise as they want, I believe there should be controls about noise.
