Due to the advancement of technology, the space field is rising more than ever and space tourism will be boosted because of the posibility of space travel. In my opinion, I think this is a negative development and this essay will discuss this idea.
Firstly, the expense for a spaceship is extremely expensive than any vehicle. In order to construct a spaceship, it takes more than 500 million dollars that can be used to help the poverty instead. Because of that expense, the cost of space travel cannot cheap and it will limit visitors who want to try space travel lead to the loss of money to space companies. Moreover, even you have enough money, you will need to have a check-out about your health since it requires attendants do not have any disease related to heart and do not suitable for people who do not have a good mental health. Taking Jeff Bezos as a example, beside being a billionaire in the world, he also need to pass all the exams about his health to get a admission in order to attend a space trip.
On the other hand, trash in space will increase by time if space travel is applied in practical. When a spaceship approach to space, jetpack will be splited from the spaceship and result in space junk that cannot be destroyed as normal rubbish. This situation are more dangerous than people thought because if people do not collect all the space trash, satellites can be destroyed because of these garbage and human beings can be killed result from the fall of these. In a research in the USA, there are over 10 million tons of garbage out of space and the government should take actions as soon as possible or else the damage on the Earth cannot be predicted.
In conclusion, space tourism will be developed in a near future but it may take a long time to do because of the effect of the drawbacks from space travel.
