There most obvious reason is healthcare, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, several people can not go to the hospital due to the fact that there is not enough space for all the Coivd patients. As a result, the government should invest in infrastructure for the healthcare system. This will directly improve the quality of life than the entertainment such as art and culture bring. The next reason would be the majority of entertainers are well-known stars who have earned a huge profit from the fan, as well as the career. A good example of this is Adele, a famous British singer, who had a massive profit from her shows. Consequently, the national state should provide more money for other issues such as education, environment, etc. Having said that, there are several reasons that some people think the state must focus on art and culture. First of all, living a sedentary lifestyle, most individuals are suffering from depression. According to research that listening to music can help people reduce depression and anxiety. So that the investment in art and culture can aid the citizens’ needs. Furthermore, culture and art are the national identities of each country. Therefore, the expenditure for art and culture can be considered an efficient way to encourage youngsters to deeply understand their traditions as well as protect the core value from the edge of dying out. In conclusion, there are a minority of people who think that government funds should be invested in culture and art. From my perspective, public money should be invested more in other alarming issues and just a small amount of that be providing for culture and art.
