Many people believe that women make better parents than men and that this is why they have a greater role in raising children in most societies. Others claim that men are just as good as women at parenting.

A child is born to two parents – a man and a woman and both sexes are crucially responsible for raising the child. While some people think that fathers can be excellent parents, I believe that women are always better at parenting because of women’s instincts ad natural intuition. Firstly, in nature, women are responsible to get pregnant and give birth to children with their partners. Thanks to nine months of pregnancy and the extreme pains from the birth process, mothers always have more connections with their offspring than fathers. Maternal intuition could enable mothers to have many characters such as patient, soothing and capable, which are suitable for caring and nurturing a kid. In addition, women often know how to read non-verbal signals in human behavior, which can alert them to issues and problems in the child’s life. Therefore, it could make feeding a child easier for women when compared to men. Men have no chance to experience the pregnancy process and the pains of giving birth, so the connection between fathers and children is not truly incisive. They could not have sensitivity to their children’s movements and attitudes. Hence, fathers might face more difficulties in raising a child. Another reason, masculine instinct in a family is providing a good condition for his family. It means men tend to focus on their work to earn money and have less time for caring for offspring. Therefore, parenting skills are not trained and improved. This is a point that I believe fathers make worse than mothers in raising children in most societies. In conclusion, there is not a shred of doubt in my mind that mothers are the best parents. Certain inherent traits help women appear to be ahead of men when it comes to the issue of parenting.
