Some people believe that increasing violence in the media is the cause of increasing violence in our society, especially among children. Others believe that children's peer groups and parental role models are a much more powerful influence on children's behavior.

The speaker states that some people belives that incresing violence in the media is the reason for increasing voilence in out society, specially among the younger generation while other tends to believe that children's peer group and parental roole models are a much more powerful influence on children's behavious. What I think is that the children, the younger generation can eaisly be influenced by any source, weather it is family, social media or any other platform. Firstly, at their age they are not able to have their opinion and they are always in search for what the following thing is, like the given example of violence. They learn mostly from what they see. If there is any kind of violence that takes place at home is what all they'll observe as well as inherit. As they say, "education starts at home", and this education should be given properly. The new generation is always the result of what past generation taught them. secondly talking about peers, the group, the people they are surrounded with can really be a strong influence for them, it can be negative or positive. so we as a kids are always told to keep friendship with the people who are always good in study or their social behaviour. we can see people having large groups in slum roaming around and learning from people they are surrounded with starts commiting small crimes or quarrel is the result of nothing but from what they have been influenced. then talking about, even if they are raised with all positive enviroment around them, even they get affected by the violence they see on media like news channe or social media platform like instagram, facebook, or even twitter, so it's always better to keep away from social media until they're mature. summing up all total, I think there surrounding is the thing they can mostly get influecne for the increasing violence. as the generation is increasing, their patience level is decreasing. so for increasing violence both factor media as well as peer or family are both equally responsible for increasing violence in our society.
