Some people believe that good leaders are born, whereas others hold the opinion that leadership qualities could be obtained during life. Who represents the good leader qualities indeed?

Great leaders are blessings to the world. Many people are of the opinion that leadership is an innate ability of some individuals. Some other people have argued that these leaders are not born so. However, I agree with the view that leadership qualities are acquired during the life of a person and I will be giving my reasons. People become food leaders because life shaped them into that. From a young age I have been taught that everyone is born tabula rasa, meaning that we are all born without any built in mental content. Also, in the holy book of Christians, everyone is born foolish. Therefore, if anyone has to become anything great in life, the environment and experiences will shape them into that. In one of my discussions with a close friend who has proven to be a good leader, I asked him at what point he became a leader. His response was that after he got into the university, made new friends and began attending events that specially dealt with leadership skills. For the above example, it can be seen that individuals need a shift to leadership friendly environments to learn to do well in leadership. Another example could be found in family leaderships. In my hometown, a family is considered the leader of the family. There are families were the fathers are late and a son has to become the leader of the family. These sons may not have been schooled to take leadership roles but because he has to take up responsibilities, he will learn to become a leader as he continously faces and overcomes challenges. It is by learning that one becomes. In summary, no one is born a great leader and anyone we consider a good leader today has experienced and worked hard to be considered one.
