Some countries are struggling with increases in crime rates. Some believe that having more police on the streets is the best way to reduce and combat crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Some countries are struggling with increases in crime rates. Some believe that having more police on the streets is the best way to reduce and combat crime. 2gk5x
It is observed that the staggering high numbers of violations lead to ongoing discussions about whether police forces should be placed more on the streets to deter criminals from breaking the law. In my opinion, I believe that only by such control would the incessant crimes be alleviated and tackled. Firstly, it is irrefutable that with the higher demand for money and other personal purposes, there are lots of dreadful and tragic crimes committed on the roads such as bag snatching, kidnapping, robbery, vandalism. . , which directly results in loss of poverty and human lives. For this reason, policemans, who are armed with weapons and high-level skills, would control such offenses instantly, so criminals would be easily attacked and deterred from causing huge consequences. Granted, one might argue that with the frequent presence of security forces, citizens would feel intrusive and annoying. However, provided that policemen are friendly and fair-minded to each individual, stress between them and citizens can be reduced and compliances can be enforced. Secondly, the alternatives to facilitating streets with policemen would be much less effective. One option would be putting cameras on the roads to record the criminal behavior exactly. In a sense, this tactic could force offenders to admit their guilt easily because of obvious evidence in a camera; however, such surveillance could not crack down on the action of criminals immediately at that time. Furthermore, another solution would be introducing a stricter punishment or heavier fine on antisocial behavior. To a certain extent, this penalty would act as a deterrent for those people who have the intention to break the law. However, there are many criminals who have crazy motives for violating the law without thinking about the repercussions. As a result, for the families whose victims are attacked by those offenders, no matter how large the offset they receive, the mental pain they come through is ever-lasting. In conclusion, empowering policemen to patrol the streets is the only way to curb and tackle transgression.
