The pie chart illustrates, the survey conducted to know what are the main reason for children for their mobiles in the period 2016 to 2019. There are mainely four reasons naming social networks, Email, digital camera and calling.
In brief, the most common for teens to use the mobile phone is for social networking, which show erratic usage. Firstly, it decreased from 50% to 49% in year 2016 and 2019 respectively and the increase to 51% in 2018 and then shows peak of about 56% in 2019. Now, the least common reason was calling which was also unpredictable being with 10% usage in 2016 and rising to peak of 13% in 2019 before fall into 5% in 2019.
On the other hand, the email usage fell from 25% to 19% in the year 2016 and 2019 respectively. However, camera shows the rise of usage from 15% in 2016 to 20% in 2019.
