Most people believe that constructions for accommodation should be well-designed to live safely for a long time, while others think that buildings of shelter such as flats and apartments should be built at an affordable price in a short period of time. I will discuss both sides of the view but as for me, I apparently agree that building infrastructures for our own for own living should take a certain amount of time for the safety of residents.
Some people suggest that too much time used for planning of accommodation can increase the burden on the budget since they have to spend money as long as the construction has not reached the expected conditions. Moreover, making efforts in architecture and design of a building can be a waste of time and money for developing and underdeveloped countries. What is crucial for them is that they just need a type of building in which they can relax soundly apart from their working hours. Having a shelter is the fact more important for them rather than how the building is built.
However, I think it is essential to build the infrastructure of a building carefully. In my opinion, the framework of the accommodation should be strong and protectable from various damaging effects of nature and environment. Constructions built in a quick and cheap way may have some weak points to face with bad weathers or some kinds of natural disasters. Safety of occupants should be the first priority of accommodation. If the building is secured and stable enough, it is worth spending money and time on it. Moreover, there is no doubt that they will last long.
In conclusion, getting a place to live easily in a short period of time is fine but you have to sacrifice your time and efforts on it whenever it comes with problems of materials used or basic structure. As for me, I totally support the fact that buildings should be designed carefully for well-qualified living.
