Leadership can be said as influencing employees or individuals to change their behavior. Leadership styles, which are also a form of management, can also be expressed as a form of communication with employees. (Mehmood&Arif, 2011)
Here, can be said that the leadership characteristics that may be suitable for Halstead are Democratic and Coaching Leadership Styles. While leaders in the Democratic Leadership style deal with the processes one-to-one, they also want the members of their team to be involved in the decisions in the face of the situations encountered. In the Coaching Leadership Style, leaders are responsible for keeping an eye on team members and following their progress. ( Coker, 2020)
Sharing the General’s no-confidence vote transparently with her entire team shows that Halstead is a democratic and collaborative leader. She encouraged her team to be successful in the US army. On the other hand, the completion of all training with the team in order to be successful again expresses its coaching leadership style.
