Planting trees is very important. Some people say that trees should be planted in the vacant areas of cities and town, while others says that housing facilities should be built instead. Do you agree or disagree?

A healthy environment is one of the most important aspects to live in a city. Some people think, to create a healthy environment, more trees should be planted in a vacant area of cities and towns than building more housing facilities. I strongly agree with this opinion, because we have to balance the number of trees and housing facilities to reduce pollution. Usually, in many cities, especially metropolitan cities, there are so many housing facilities. I understand that housing facilities such as apartments, department stores, offices, and many more are important. But if there are only buildings with no trees in a city, there will be too much pollution, that is definitely bad for our health. Also, if we build more housing facilities, it will make it worse, because the environment around us will be too dry. That is why we need to plant more trees. There are so many advantages if we plant trees instead of building more constructions. Besides reducing few pollutions from vehicles, trees will also help to prevent floods. Especially, for those who live with kids, planting more trees or making some green areas will make the environment leafy and cleaner. In conclusion, I would say that it is great if we have many facilities provided in the cities to make our life easier. But we also need to pay attention to our health. So, I think, we could plant some trees on building rooftops, sidewalks, parks, and many more in order to make the environments around us cleaner and healthier to live in.
