Should the Vietnam government ban Zoo’s? Discuss both sides yOlKd
Some people believe that zoos are entertaining, while others think keeping animals in zoos is wrong. I believe our government sees both the positive and negative of keeping animals in zoos. Preserving wildlife animals is an emergency problem for all of us.
From my point of view, the first benefit is that by continuing zoos we can protect endangered species such as rhinos, tigers, . . . It means zoos have a significant role in wildlife conservation. There are a lot of inventions inspired by animals, therefore scientists can study their behavior. The second one is that zoos are interesting and educational. Children can learn to protect wildlife and nature, furthermore visiting zoos can be a memorable experience for them. Other benefits offer working opportunities and income for citizens in the local area. And the profit from the zoo can be used for preservation.
On the other hand, those animals require a natural environment since they are wildlife animals. The environment humans construct is an artificial one, animals may lose their natural characteristics like hunting, …. Moreover, they may find it hard to adapt to the new environment. In addition, humans use animals in the circus for their profit and those animals are poorly treated. According to newspapers, circus animals are confined in small cages, they are taught in a violent way by whip or electric whip.
In conclusion, I think the Vietnamese government should ban zoos and preserve natural habitats. Basically, it is a more suitable solution to this warning issue.
