decline in the value of art
decline in the value of art oLlJ3
Art has always been considered as an important aspect of society, however today increasing developments in the fields of business, technology and science has undermined the value of art. Other fields are growing immensely whereas art is decreasing day by day and thus less people are interested in becoming artists today. The decline of art could be stopped by taking some steps like educating children more about the value of art and holding out campaigns about the importance of art and carrying out more promotions of exhibitions.
Promotion of a subject is a key for it’s development. A few people discovered light bulb before Albert Einstine but still it is considered to be an invention of Einstein. Why? Because Einstine did the right promotion and on the other side, out of hundred only a few people know Pablo Picasso or Vancent Van Gogh, therefore art requires promotion to portray it’s importance in the world.
Educating children about the importance of art can also be a contributing factor in it’s growth. In many countries, when it comes to art students are being taught how to draw even on senior levels which creates lack of understanding for the roots of art. This could be avoided by providing quality education, if students are taught history of art from a young age they will be able to understand deep meanings as well as it’s contribution to the world. Of course not all of them would become artists but they will have a basic understanding about the field of art and this will increase purchasers of art.
Although, art has been participating in our daily life still it’s values is decreasing day by day. In today’s diverse world while other fields are increasing their fame art is falling behind and important majors are needed to be taken to bring art on the top again. Educating individuals via school or campaigns can increase their interest in arts and aside from that promotions could also be helpful.
