Long vacation on several short breaks

There is no doubt that every person needs a vacation to make a nice change in a hustle and bustle of everyday routine. However, there are different opinions about the length and the amount of such holidays. Some people claim that students should be given a one long break, others are convinced that they should have several short ones. On the one hand, a long vacation once a year it is a great chance to have a journey or vacation and explore one place inside and out or to have time for part-time job. Firstly, if a student want to earn some money, this long period of time is a more suitable variant than part-working during studying period. Secondly, students that get sick and tired of educational routine may take off and have a journey somewhere during which they can recharge their batteries and broaden horizons. On the other hand, short breaks once in two month might be more productive in terms of a rest. Moreover, what they may understand is that they won’t get so exhausted while having holiday every second month. Besides, during long breaks students will be able to forget a plethora of information, for the reason that not every person spend holidays revising and practising school or university material. To conclude, I suppose that the best variant is to give students one long vacation in summer and two or three short breaks during the school year. From my point of view, using such system off holidays they may get enough rest and prepare for exams or studying process.
