The given line graph gives information about how much money people spent on books in four different countries, namely Germany, France, Italy and Austria over the period of 10 years, starting from 1995. Overall, it is clear that the amount of money spent on books in four mentioned countries saw an upward trend over the period of shown. In addition, the most noticeable change was seen in the amount of money spent on books in Germany. It can be seen on the graph that the amount of money spent on books in Germany rose slowly from 80 to 90 US dollars (millions) between 1995 and 1999, then the figure continued to reach a peak of about 95 US dollars in 2005. There was a flutuation in the proportion of money Italian paying for books from 1995 to 1999, then getting the highest point of approximately 63 US dollars( millions) in 2005. In 1995, the amount of money spent on books in France was nearly twice as much as the figure in Austria, at about 60 US dollars and 30 Us dollars, respectively. After 10 year period, there was a sharp increase in the proportion of money spent on books in Austria by 74 US dollars, while the figure in France was sightly higher than Austria one, at 75 Us dollars.
